Candidum is a white Fancy Leaf caladium variety. These shade loving caladium bulbs or tubers are great for adding easy color to your late spring and summer plantings. Candidum is an old very hearty caladium variety that is considered medium to tall in height (1.5 -2.5 ft). Candidum caladium bulbs are tropical foliage plants that are easy to grow in landscaping, pots and planters. Candidum caladiums have medium sized white leaves with green netted venation and a thin green border. It’s common for some of the Candidum leaves to look a little green rather than bright white. Candidum is an “old standy-by” and is very popular with our customers. White caladiums provide contrast and texture against other green foliage and brighten the dark, shaded areas of your landscaping.
