FREE SHIPPING is offered on all orders shipped within the continental United States. We ship via UPS Ground and the U.S. Postal Service.
Shipping costs for orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands will be 30% of your order total.
Shipping to physical addresses allows us to keep our shipping costs down, thus keeping our bulb costs low for our customers. If you have the option of receiving your bulbs at a physical address, we would appreciate you making that choice rather than using a PO Box. However, we will be glad to ship to your PO Box if you prefer.
Online orders will be notified with shipping and tracking information at the time of shipment.
Remember that caladium bulbs originated in the Amazon basin of South America. For this reason, they do not like cold temperatures. To ensure the receipt of quality, healthy bulbs and customer satisfaction, we only ship our caladium bulbs when the temperatures in the destination area are optimal for planting. If the bulbs encounter temperatures below 60° F in transit, they could be damaged causing them to be delayed in sprouting, have small immature leaves, erratic growth and the possibility of rot. We don’t want that to happen!
We start shipping in early March to the warmer regions of the country. As other regions warm up we proceed with shipping to them. Please see our shipping map and correlating dates below to determine when we anticipate shipping to your area.
If your order is placed after the anticipated shipping date for your area has passed, we will ship your bulbs on the next available ship date.
We know some of you have greenhouses and prefer to get an early start with your plantings. If you would like to take the chance of having your order shipped earlier than the date we determine best, we will gladly honor your wishes but will not be able to guarantee the bulbs. Please note your requested ship date in the comments section of your order. Keep in mind that our earliest ship date will be March 5, 2018.
If your order arrives before your night temperatures are optimum for planting (65° F or above) or you are not yet ready to plant, you will need to open the boxes and store them in an area that is above 65° F until you are ready to plant.

We will make every effort to accommodate your request for specific varieties and bulb sizes. However, caladium bulbs are a crop that is grown and harvested as a gift from Mother Nature. We don’t always know what our harvest will reap and sometimes find that some varieties didn’t make the volume of bulbs that we expected. When this occurs, we contact our customers directly to communicate the shortage and work with them to make adjustments that will ensure their ultimate satisfaction.
